How to create a string layout

This guide explains how to create a string layout in app.solar.

Create a customer

Go to the customer list and press create customer, or choose an existing customer. Fill in all details such as address, city, first name, and last name. Then open the Products tab to choose a solar panel under Roof components. If you already know which other components will be included in the installation, you can add those as well.

Create a string layout

Once the customer has been created and filled in, it is time to create a string layout. Go to documents, press Create system document at the top of the table, and choose string layout from the menu that appears.

After creating the string layout, you will enter the editing view. The icons in the upper-right corner are explained below.
